Speaker Cable Specific Tests

Risetime-Overshoot Test
In this test we pass a 5KHz square waveform from a direct-coupled amplifier through your cable which is attached to a four ohm precision load. This test highlights even the slightest fault in your cable's construction. An overshoot/undershoot deviation of less than 2% is allowed. In the graph for your cable, you'll see the risetime at 10 microseconds/div. Note in particular that there is NO overshoot or undershoot at the bottom or top of the waveform.
